Standard - 11 & 12 Science Supplementary Booklet

The students of standard 12 of science stream of the state require continuous efforts and objective labour for getting admission in higher studies and to frame their carrier. To get admission in higher studies of medical field competitive examination of NEET is made compulsory by the Central Government through new policy. Hence, the students of science stream of Gujarat State will have to appear in the competitive examinations at national level and will have establish the career by successfully passing through it.

The educational points of competitive NEET examination which were not included in the present curriculum are now included in this supplementary booklet as the subject matter points. By this publication attempt is made to make the syllabus of Gujarat State of the same level as that of NEET.

This supplementary booklet is prepared jointly by Gujarat Secondary and High Secondary Education Board as well as Gujarat State Board of School Textbooks in which the subjects of science stream - like physics, biology and chemistry are included according to syllabus with reference to NEET.

The specialty and utility of this supplementary booklet:

• Will prove useful in the present scenario in getting subject readiness to the students of science stream at the compulsory competitive NEET examination.
• Students will have subjectwise and chapterwise extra information available with reference to NEET and so their problems will be solved.
• The missing subject matter in the existing textbooks will be available with reference to NEET and will be studied.
• Will be helpful to teachers and the parents for providing necessary guidance to the students of science stream.

Above this, a 'Question Bank' in the form of additional supplementary publications for more practice regarding guidance and examination point of view, in the subjects of physics, biology and chemistry are to be published in short time by the Gujarat State Board of School Textbooks in which the questions will be based on NEET syllabus. All these publications will be published in the interest of the students of science stream.
