New Academic Year Holiday List From 7 June 2021
Subject: Matter of sending details of the academic calendar for the academic year 2021-22.

According to the above subject and context, to state that due to the situation of Covid-19 in the academic year 2021-22, as per the decision taken by the Government, online education work under Home Learning was started on 07/06/2021. After that, as the situation improved, according to the decision made by the government, direct educational work has been started in schools from 15/07/2021 to Std-12 and from 26/07/2021 to Std-9 to 11 schools.
Under normal circumstances, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board prepare a school activity calendar every year and its details are sent to the secondary and higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education through the District Education Officers. Due to the prevailing situation of Covid-19, the school activity calendar could not be fixed by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for the academic year 2021-22. The school activity calendar is frequently questioned by schools.

With the approval of the Government obtained on the reference file, the details of the days of the academic session, details of the date of the examination, instructions about the examinations, days of vacation, details of public holidays as well as details of the Board's examination dates are sent herewith. Due to the situation of Covid-19 on these dates, if any change has to be made as per the instruction of the Government, the change has to be made accordingly.
