In Std 1 and 2 in both content and personality development areas, the teacher has to make the students do the learning task or do the activity according to the learning outcomes given. According to the statement of learning outcomes, students should be given a variety of experiences. Only after that, whether the learning outcomes are achieved or not will have to be evaluated.
The annual assessment is to be conducted according to the Direct Grading System (A, B, C) based on Forms D1 and D2 of SCE (School Comprehensive Evaluation) for Class 1 and Forms D3 and D4 for Class 2. Conducting individual continuous assessment (informal assessment) of students during the year, to provide remedial teaching of learning outcomes that are lagging behind, and to try to achieve those lagging learning outcomes.
